This week eight teams will compete for one of the closest NRL final series on record, with sides like the Roosters, Bulldogs and Panthers missing. Who will win? Well your guess is as good as mine.
I do know that here at the Broncos silence is sometimes the best answer. Sure, we may not have been winning much over the last few months but all the staff and players are doing very little talking and plenty of hard work.
If last week's performance gives us any indication of how we will go in the finals, then things are looking good.
The team competed very well down in Sydney and Brisbane, minus the experience of three key players and with other players carrying some minor injuries.
I’m sure that by the way we have been playing and the return of the great Darren Lockyer, we will see a Broncos victory and maybe the kick start we need to advance to the big game in October.
I would like to start this month’s report by congratulating all teams who competed in Broncos Challenge competitions throughout Queensland.
These school based competitions are a great avenue to keep Rugby League alive in some areas and are something that we are very proud of at the Broncos.
Of course these competitions never become a reality without the support of sponsors and a big thank you must also go to these people. Below are the winning schools for several of these competitions;
